Lohri marks the end of winter and celebrates the winter solstice. It is a thanksgiving festival for the new harvest season, particularly celebrated by Punjabi and North Indian communities.
Celebration Highlights
- Bonfire Ceremony: Traditional lighting of the sacred bonfire with prayers and offerings
- Bhangra & Gidda: Energetic Punjabi folk dances around the bonfire
