Celebrate the divine birth of Lord Rama with continuous chanting, bhajan singing, and spiritual discourses at Hindu temples across the UK.
Nine Days of Celebration
Rama Navami falls on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri and celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu and hero of the epic Ramayana.
Day-Long Program
- 6:00 AM: Mangala Aarti and temple opening
- 8:00 AM: Ramayana Path (scripture reading)
- 12:00 PM: Birth ceremony and cradle decoration
- 2:00 PM: Discourse on Rama's teachings
- 6:00 PM: Bhajan and kirtan
- 8:00 PM: Aarti and prasad distribution
